Shannon Mustipher is a cocktail consultant, spirits educator, and the author of Tiki: Modern Tropical Cocktails (Rizzoli/Universe). After launching a Caribbean rum-focused bar at Glady’s in 2014, she went on to found Women Who Tiki, a tropical cocktail–centric pop-up that gathers a team of women bartenders to share their talents and collaborate on creating a one-night-only experience. Shannon has garnered a number of accolades: she was awarded the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation’s Pioneer Award and inducted into the foundation’s Dame Hall of Fame. Her first book, Tiki: Modern Tropical Cocktails won the IACP Best Book in Beer, Wine, and Spirits. Shannon's writing, cocktail recipes, and opinions have been featured in a number of publications, including Vinepair, Saveur, Imbibe,, and She resides in Brooklyn and enjoys traveling, cooking, and collecting “too many books.”

Behind the Ipanema Daydream

Christopher Longoria’s career behind the bar began in 2002 at the Korean soju hotspot RoHan Lounge in San Francisco. There he was recognized as the “Best Bartender to Confess Your Sins To” by the San Francisco Bay Guardian. He moved on to acclaimed Michelin star–rated restaurant Aziza for 5 years as the creative bar lead. As bar manager, he then led the restaurant 1760 to become a popular cocktail destination in California. Currently he is the bar director of Che Fico, which was named one of the top-10 restaurants in the country by Bon Appétit in 2018. That same year, he was nominated as beverage professional of the year by the Saucy Awards. In 2015 he was named a bar star by the San Francisco Chronicle, and the Guardian deemed his cocktails “best creative” the year prior.

Behind the Give and Go

Adam Way is a Seattle-based bartender and beverage consultant who has worked for various brands, bars, and restaurants, including Il Bistro, Foreign National, and Roquette. A passionate and creative bartender, Adam enjoys creating bespoke cocktails that open new worlds for his customers. When he’s not behind the bar, he’s out on the streets practicing his other passion: photography.
