Jules Mavromatis is the co-founder of Agave 308, Key West's only agave-focused bar. Between the countless hours she spent there and her numerous travels to Mexico, she really cultivated her passion for and knowledge of agave spirits and cocktails. Jules recently made the move from island life to the vibrant chaos of Miami, where she's currently working with Breakthru Beverage, representing William Grant's Mexican portfolio (including Montelobos Mezcal, Milagro Tequila, and Ancho Reyes).
A seasoned veteran of the bar and restaurant industry, Sam Jimenez has worked every position imaginable, from porter to GM, mostly in upstate NY. With more than 25 years in the field, he's acquired a depth of knowledge and skill that's evident in every drink he makes. Currently a brand ambassador for a boutique line of mezcal, he can be found traveling through Mexico, getting to know more about the magical distillates of his home country. Caer Maiko Ferguson—a bartender and artist based out of Austin—works at The Roosevelt Room and is the bar manager for The Eleanor. Her bar-related accolades include National Espolon Cocktail Fights Champion, National Finalist for Speed Rack and Chivas Masters, and features with Liquor.com, PUNCH, The Local Palate, and Martha Stewart Weddings, as well as a nomination for "Bartender of the Year" with Austin's 2018 Tastemaker Awards. When not behind the bar or traveling, Caer is usually working on an artistic project or playing with her cats, Mango and Yojimbo.
