Bartenders Behind the Winter Rum: Spice is Nice Box!

Behind the Pommes Bande

Dan Watson is a well-vintaged barkeep, most commonly filed away in the r(h)um section. He can be found exploring Northeast Ohio's many parks with his pal Agent Dana Scully, enjoying the amazing food scene in Cleveland with his wife, or watching baseball at his local bar with a cheap beer in hand. When Dan is not busy expressing strong opinions about the proper way to craft a mojito (built) or a Jungle Bird (Jamaican rum), he'd be more than happy to shake up a daiquiri for you at Porco Lounge and Tiki Room.

Behind the Honeur Abricot

Orlando Franklin McCray is a bartender from Tacoma, Washington, who has been living and working in New York for eight years. He enjoys r(h)um, a lot, as well as the company of his partner, Taylor Adorno, and cat Crouton. Orlando spends most of his time developing the bar program at Nightmoves in Brooklyn and covers shifts with Blake Walker, his friend and roommate, at Amor y Amargo in Manhattan.

Behind the Hoolio

When he’s not leading the team at Beachbum Berry’s Latitude 29, general manager and head bartender Brad Smith can be found somewhere in his adopted home of New Orleans enjoying the many activities that the city is famous for, such as seeing death metal gigs and costuming “Because it’s Thursday.”  Brad loves his wife, Catherine, his dogs, mentoring, and creating cocktails that make people think.
