Behind the Citrus Paradisi 

Kellie Thorn has been in the restaurant industry for nearly twenty years and bartending for the last seventeen, and has received considerable critical recognition for her talents and skills. In 2010, she joined forces with star chef Hugh Acheson to open Empire State South. Her success in this role led her to the position of beverage director for Acheson’s restaurants in 2013. Kellie is highly committed to furthering her education in spirits and wine. She’s taken and passed the Court of Master Sommeliers’ Introductory Sommelier Course, participated in and passed the reputed BAR 5-Day Certification program in New York, and most recently participated in the WSET Level Three Award in Spirits. She believes that “a rising tide lifts all boats” and has turned her attention to utilizing her knowledge base to educate her peers. In 2017 she was awarded the Les Dames D’Escoffier International Legacy Award, and in 2018 she was named one of Wine Enthusiast’s 40 under 40 Tastemakers. When Kellie isn’t behind the bar or educating, she enjoys traveling, cooking, kickboxing, dance parties, and spending time with her son, Finnian.


Behind the Knicker Twist

Professional bartender Sother Teague is the beverage director at the acclaimed NYC bitters bar Amor y Amargo. He is a partner at both the tea-driven Blue Quarter and the French-inspired Windmill, co-founder of the NYC charity pop-up bar Coup, and beverage director at the vegan barbecue and American whiskey lounge Honeybee's. He is the host of The Speakeasy on Heritage Radio Network. Sother developed a love of teaching while working on the TV program Good Eats and has been featured as a cocktail expert in various outlets, including Esquire, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Time Out New York, and BuzzFeed. In 2018, he was named Wine Enthusiast's "Mixologist of the Year." He’s the author of I'm Just Here For The Drinks and Let’s Get Blitzen.


Behind the Corgis & Crumpets

Tyler Hudgens is a former Navy brat who now calls Miami home. Before joining Liquid Productions, she ran a variety of beverage programs along the East Coast and overseas. Her most recent role was as bar director of the Michelin-star-rated restaurant the Dabney in Washington, DC Before that she was the head bartender of the Columbia Room (Washington, DC), winner of the Best American Cocktail Bar award in 2017 from Tales of the Cocktail Foundation. Tyler is a graduate of Beverage Alcohol Resource (BAR) 5-Day Certification program and a member of the United States Bartenders Guild and travels to work and teach with BAR 5-Day, Barsmarts, Ultimate Beverage Challenge, Barsmarts, the Academy Awards, and more. She enjoys exploring Miami with her thirteen-year-old golden retriever, Tucker, who is a lover of patios and not-so-fancy ice.
