BOO-rbon.

JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT YOUR HOME BAR WAS HAUNT-FREE…

Boo-rbon has risen. And it’s ready to help you summon some seriously spirited cocktails.

As we cross from sunshine into shadow, our bartenders are conjuring fall’s most bewitching flavors, warm spices, rich syrups, eerie-good garnishes, and bourbon is the magic binding it all together. This famed Kentucky whiskey has a knack for turning any drink into an instant classic, and this month’s recipes take that power deadly seriously.

So step into the kitchen, creak open the pantry, and prepare to mix with the bold, the cozy, and the delicious. The Boo-rbon box is here… and it’s dying to be opened.

Old Grandad Bonded

Old Grand-Dad is a bold, high-rye 100-proof bourbon with punchy spice and heat. Packed with cinnamon, oak, and citrus zest, it’s a bartender favorite and the perfect backbone for a spiced cocktail.

Evan Williams Bottled in Bond

Aged at least four years and bottled at 100 proof, it delivers rich caramel, vanilla, and oak with a touch of spice in a smooth, balanced profile. Approachable yet full of flavor, it’s a great value and a staple for bourbon lovers.

Elijah Craig Small Batch

Well-balanced and smooth, it features rich notes of toffee, vanilla, toasted oak, and a hint of baking spice from its longer aging. Bottled at 94 proof, it hits a sweet spot between boldness and drinkability, offering a complex bourbon you won’t want to miss.

Greg Mayer

His career behind the stick spans more than a decade, bartending all over the country—including Nashville and Austin, where he worked at some of the best bars in the area and racked up a list of competition wins—and consulting in more than just the United States. Over the past few years, Greg worked with the iconic whiskey Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, representing the brand in New York City. Now he’s back in creation mode, bringing more cocktails to the Shaker & Spoon community.
