What is Shaker & Spoon?
Shaker & Spoon is a cocktail subscription service that delivers everything you need to make incredible drinks at home—minus the alcohol. Each month, you’ll get three original recipes plus all the syrups, mixers, garnishes, and know-how to craft 12 standout cocktails.
All the fun of bartending at home, no experience required.
How does it work?
Every month, typically around mid-month, we deliver a curated box packed with everything you need to craft incredible cocktails at home (minus the spirits).
Inside, you’ll find three original recipes from award winning bartenders that make 12 drinks total, plus all the syrups, mixers, garnishes, and extras to bring them to life. You’ll also get a playlist to set the vibe, and you can find even more ways to use your ingredients on our Box Recipes page.
Is everything subscription only?
Nope! While we offer a monthly subscription, you can also purchase one-time boxes anytime. We also sell smaller cocktail kits, syrups, garnishes, bitters, and more—so you can stock your bar cart without committing to a subscription.

What is inside each box?
Each Shaker & Spoon box contains three original recipes from award winning bartenders that make 12 drinks total, plus all the syrups, mixers, garnishes, and extras to bring them to life.
What if I have food allergies?
Some of our products may contain or be processed in facilities that handle the top 9 allergens. We list all allergen information clearly on every product page so you can review ingredients before purchasing. If you ever have questions or need more details, please reach out to us at help@shakerandspoon.com—we’re always here to help make sure everything is safe for you to enjoy.
Are all the products you ship alcohol free?
Although most of the ingredients we include are completely alcohol-free, some items, like certain bitters or dealcoholized products, may contain trace amounts of alcohol (0.5% or less).
For context, this level of alcohol is similar to what naturally occurs in ripe fruit, soy sauce, vinegar, yogurt with live cultures, and even common sodas.
Can I customize my box?
Our monthly boxes are carefully curated so we can source ingredients at scale and keep everything consistent.
What is the calorie content of the drinks?
Since we create new recipes each month, calorie counts can vary widely from cocktail to cocktail. If you’d like to learn more about what’s featured in the current box, reach out to help@shakerandspoon.com.
Do I have to use the recommended spirits each month?
We provide spirit recommendations to help you get the best flavor match for each box, but you’re absolutely encouraged to use whatever you already have on hand. Our recipes are designed to be flexible, so feel free to make them your own.
Orders & Shipping
How much is shipping?
Shipping is included in the price of all subscriptions and one-time boxes. Shipping rates for other products are listed on their individual product pages.
When will my order ship?
All non-subscription orders ship within 2–3 business days (often sooner!). Subscription boxes ship for delivery around mid-month, and you’ll receive tracking as soon as they head out. For new subscription orders placed after the 23rd of the month, your first box will roll to the following month. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 3–7 days.
Do you ship internationally?
No, we don’t offer international shipping at this time. We currently ship only within the United States, United States territories, and APO/FPO boxes.
Where can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow it right on the carrier’s website. If you don’t receive tracking, just reach out to us at help@shakerandspoon.com and we’ll be happy to help.
Which box will I get?
Your first box is outlined on our Subscription page and typically matches the month you subscribe. You can also start a subscription with any of our Vault Boxes. Once you’re in, you’re always in control. Feel free to pause, skip, or swap any upcoming box if it’s not your vibe. If you’re unsure which box you’ll receive, just reach out to us at help@shakerandspoon.com and we’ll happily clarify.
How do I manage my account?
Please note: our member portal is currently closed while we finalize migration to our new site.
Once we're fully up and running, to manage your account, you'll have a login where you can update your payment method, change your address, or skip, swap, or pause any upcoming boxes.
If you need help in the meantime, email us at help@shakerandspoon.com and we’ll take care of it for you.
My box arrived damaged or missing ingredients. Can I get a replacement?
We’re so sorry to hear your order didn’t arrive as expected. That’s never the experience we want for you. If anything is ever damaged, missing, or simply not what you expected please reach out to us at help@shakerandspoon.com and we’ll make it right.
Can I return my order?
Due to the nature of our products, we’re unable to accept returns, refunds, or exchanges. However, if there’s an issue with your order, such as damage in transit or a missing item, please reach out to us at help@shakerandspoon.com. We’ll always do our best to make it right.
Subscriptions
Is everything subscription only?
Nope! While we offer a monthly subscription, you can also purchase one-time boxes anytime. We also sell smaller cocktail kits, syrups, garnishes, bitters, and more so you can stock your bar cart without committing to a subscription.
Do subscriptions auto renew?
Yes, our subscriptions automatically renew on the 28th of each month. You’ll get plenty of reminders from us beforehand, so you can choose your upcoming box or make any updates to your account.
Gift subscriptions, however, are billed to the gifter only once and do not renew automatically. You’re always in control either way.
How do I cancel?
We’re so sorry to see you go! You can cancel anytime by logging into our member portal or by emailing us at help@shakerandspoon.com. Please note that prepaid subscriptions aren’t refundable, but you can cancel them at any point before the next renewal. Any remaining boxes in the prepaid term will still ship as scheduled.
Once a box has shipped, whether it's part of a renewal or a new subscription, we’re unable to issue refunds or cancellations.

Gifts
Can I send a gift?
All of our products can be gifted!
To send a one-time purchase or a subscription, just click the green “Send a Gift” button on any product. A pop-up will let you choose whether we should email the recipient directly or provide you with a shareable link to deliver however you’d like.
Subscription gifts won’t ship until the recipient redeems their link and sets up their account.
All other non-subscription gifts can be sent immediately and will ship on our normal schedule.
We also offer gift cards which can be purchased here.
Do gifts auto renew?
Gift orders do not renew for the purchaser, and the recipient will receive their own login to manage their membership moving forward. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at help@shakerandspoon.com.
Why does my gift recipient need to enter a credit card to retrieve their gift?
Each gift recipient gets their own login to our member portal so they can manage their account, things like skipping, swapping, or pausing boxes, updating their address, or adding extra products to their order. To do that safely and securely, they need to set up their own payment details.
This is in the interest of both safety and privacy:
- It ensures the recipient, not the gifter, controls their personal information, shipping address, and any future charges.
- It prevents anyone else from making changes or purchases on their behalf.
Rest assured, they won’t be charged for the gifted term of their membership unless they choose to continue their subscription beyond the initial gift or add additional items to their order.

Discounts
Can I use more than one discount code?
Only one discount code can be used per order and cannot be combined with other promotions.
The sale ended, can I still use the discount code?
To make things fair to everyone, sales discount codes can only be applied within the timeframe of the sale.
I just bought something and now it's on sale! can I get a discount?
We’re happy to honor a price adjustment if you placed an order within 24 hours before a sale, discount, or promotional offer goes live. If that’s the case, just reach out to us within 24 hours of the promotion being announced, and we’ll take care of it. Requests made outside that window aren’t eligible for adjustment.
